Resumo: (Youth Point)
Youth Point service is an office that belongs to the municipality. The activity of the Youth Point, is to inform and help young people so that they can choose the best options for their present and future, creating equal opportunities. Every year more youngsters use the service, which makes the program grow in terms of participation. The aim is to encourage the creation of projects and attend to the needs of young people. For this purpose, there is a Youth
Information Point and the services of health, work - entrepreneurship and self- employment-, and educational guidance. A dynamic space is also implemented to offer meeting points and relationships between young people.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
Is open-minded towards differences and has an unconditional respect for the others
Is interested in working with diversity of people
Is willing to do the tasks
Has previous experience in volunteering at the local level
Has a personal interest in the topic covered by the association
Is highly motivated to learn Catalan and Spanish (VERY IMPORTANT BASIC SPANISH)
Is highly motivated to have relations with the community

Tarefas: - Attention, information, and training:
Help to direct public attention and phone and electronic attention and social media.
- Help to organize and dynamize activities for youth and work with them directly.
- Campaign to publicize the YIP in secondary schools and universities: Assist in the preparation of the talk; in the organization of the talks schedule and to perform it.
- Organisation of events: Assist in the tasks of organizing activities: conferences, concerts, lectures, workshops, exhibitions, competitions, festivals, tours, Christmas park, fairs, excursions, etc...
- Diffusion of ECS and local participation: the volunteers need to participate at least in 3 different talks (schools, radio, etc) to explain the experience, and to participate in 6 different local actions to get to know the community where they are living (environmental, social, cultural...)
- Personal Project: Preparing your project is a compulsory activity for your personal development. Always need to coordinate with your hosting organization.

Horário: Working hours maximum 35 hours per week
2 h language per week (Catalan)

If working weekends, it will be compensated during the week
2 days off per month

Condições: - Monthly pocket money at the beginning of each month ( 6 euros per day)
- The shopping list will be done by the volunteers
The food will be delivered every 2 weeks by a supermarket
- Facilities and rooms (4-6 double beds) are shared.
Free WIFI
Sharing the house with other projects is possible.
Deposit of 100 euros on arrival. Returned at the end if belongings are fine
