Resumo: The organization is an institution of the municipality. Together we create a youth space where all young people between the ages of 9 and 27 are welcome. We work according to the principle of open child and youth work and offer a varied vacation program during the school vacations. A highlight of our work is the annual vacation camp. On a day-to-day basis, we are a central contact point for children and young people from the municipality of Giesen and the surrounding villages.
Our soccer pitch is an attraction for young people in all weathers.
You will mainly work with the team and help prepare, organize and carry out the various activities on offer. You will also be able to take part in the annual summer camp!

We work together with the ijgd as hosting organization, which principles are: ecological learning, voluntarism, self-organisation, social learning, intercultural learning, gender equality, anti-racism/anti-discrimination and political education.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

The biggest building block of our work is the contact with the young people in our facilities in the form of open children's and youth work. Therefore, we would like to have a person who is courageous to get in touch with the young people of Giesen. Not being shy, being interested in the young people's issues and being open to other people and situations are definitely qualities that will make your start with us easier. We do not expect any special educational qualifications. Of course, you will not be able to communicate in German from the beginning, but we think that there are many ways of communicating outside of language.

Tarefas: We would like you to bring ideas and initiative to regularly design, plan and implement activities for our visitors. These can be low-threshold projects, for example in the area of music, sport and creativity, in which the visitors can try things out. The projects can be in your areas of interest, and there are many possibilities in our house.
The most important aspect for us is that you want to be part of our team for the duration of your service and come into contact with the young people in the projects. We are happy if you bring your own interests and skills into our team.

Condições: Accommodation:
We are looking for a room in a shared apartment in Hildesheim.
Food:
You will get the official amount for food: 270,00 € per month.
Pocket Money:
Your pocket money is 150,00 € per month.
Mobility:
We will provide a bike and a ticket for the local transport.
