Resumo: The Association is a non-governmental organization that came into existence in 2002 with its primary mission concentrated on promoting active citizenship among children, youth and adults, mainly through voluntary work and non-formal education.
By organizing social, cultural, civic events, actions, projects and by the Association triggers a debate on issues of social life that are important and topical for the local society. We systematically implement such programs as: running the Regional Volunteer Center, the Elder Brother Elder Sister Program, the First Aid Program in the lessons, Your Voice. We are one of the founding organizations of the West Pomeranian NGO Federation and one of the founders of the Szczecin Center for the Support of Non-Governmental Organizations SECTOR3.
We work in many areas with non-governmental organizations and public institutions located in Szczecin and the region, i.e. the City Hall of Szczecin, the Secretariat for Youth of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, schools, community centres, etc. We are active on European level and European voluntary service since 2003 and during this time we have sent, hosted and coordinated many European volunteers .
Through the implementation of international projects, we enable young people from other countries to get to know Poland, its inhabitants and their culture, and we give the opportunity to volunteer in a Polish non-governmental organization or public institution.
Perfil: Age: 18-30
Tarefas: 1. The participant supports the daily and ongoing work of the organization and its activities in order to fulfill the organization's mission of building a civil society by popularizing the idea of volunteering, non-formal education and creating conditions for participation in public life for its recipients
2. The Participant organizes, supports and conducts activities indicated by the organization that correspond to the nature of the Organization's mission, are related to the nature and idea of the project and concern in particular: organizing and conducting classes, workshops, events, meetings, activities strengthening the building of solidarity, interculturalism, mutual understanding of cultures and diversity among the recipients of their activities
3. The Participant takes part in meetings, workshops, activities and events in which the organization participates or is their organizer, unless otherwise indicated,
4. The Participant performs the assigned tasks in accordance with the mission, goals and idea of the organization and its internal regulations
5. The Participant performs his/her activities reliably and in accordance with the tasks provided for the place of volunteering and general tasks related to the implementation of the project
6. The Participant takes part in meetings, workshops on learning processes, acquiring and increasing competences and skills, and evaluation activities indicated by organization
The tasks of a participant performing kindergarten volunteering activities include, among others:
1. Supporting the daily activities performed by the host kindergarten, especially the teacher leading the kindergarten group,
2. Organizing and conducting workshops, presentations, shows, classes for children regarding, in particular, topics related to culture, country of origin, language, sports and manual workshops, contributing to the individual and social development of children
3. Organizing, supporting and conducting kindergarten events, formal and informal holidays,
4. Organizing and conducting classes for children in accordance with the Participant's knowledge and capabilities, which increase their knowledge in specific topics through non-formal education tools
