Resumo: The hosting organization serves as a place of refugee and care for children and adolescents who are in vulnerable situations. These minors are facing various challenges, such as abuse, neglect, or other difficult circumstances.
Perfil: • Are 18-30 years old
• Are residents of an EU country or ESC partner country

Tarefas: 1. Volunteer engagement
The organization actively involves volunteers in its operations. Volunteers play a crucial role in providing assistance and support to both the staff and the minors residing in the center. The activities can span various areas, such as social, educational, and recreational.
2. Social and educational support
Volunteers are expected to help with the social and educational development of the minors. This might include tutoring, homework assistance, life skills training, or mentoring.
3. Leisure activities
Proposing and providing opportunities for leisure and recreation is important for the well-being of the minors. Volunteers may be involved in organizing and supervising recreational activities to ensure that the children have opportunities for fun and relaxation.
4. Social integration
Part of the mission is to involve facilitating the social integration of the minors. Volunteers may help create an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages the children to build positive relationships and become integrated into the community.
The experience also aims to strengthen the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities, promote active citizenship, and build strong ties with the community. Volunteers will be involved in flexible and diverse activities, with clear roles and impact-oriented responsibilities, developing transferable skills, personal motivation, and confidence.

The participant will receive a total of €11 per day, composed as follows:
€6/day as pocket money
€5/day as food allowance
Payments will be managed directly by the organization and will be transferred in euros (€) at the beginning of each month.
Accommodation:
Volunteers will be hosted in a large flat. It is surrounded by many of the historical and artistic monuments. On the ground floor there are the offices of Strauss APS and spaces for recreational and educational workshops, while, on the first floor, on an area of about 390 square meters, there is the volunteers house.
The flat has 2 entrances, one internal and connected with the offices below, one independent. House is provided with 5 bedrooms, all with windows, 1 kitchen, 2 bathroom areas, a laundry room and a large terrace. Various facilities will be provided to the volunteers: Wi-Fi internet h24, 1 TV, 1 oven, 1 microwave, 2 fridges, 2 hobs, 2 kitchen sinks, kitchen tools, washing machine, 2 washtub, iron and drying racks, 8 washbasins, 5 showers, 5 toilets, bikes and all the furniture needed to accommodate the volunteers.
