Resumo: The hosting organization is a non-profit social cooperative. Since 1989, it has been working in the field of social intervention, developing projects aimed at the comprehensive development and improvement of the quality of life of people at risk of social exclusion.

The values that guide our initiative are:
- Generating wealth valued both economically and socially.
- Creating the right conditions to promote social and community development processes.
- Ensuring that our actions are rooted in the reality of people and in the context of their specific territories.
- Basing our strategy on cooperation (social and economic) and on the principles of solidarity and sustainable economic development.
- Promoting the growth, training, integration, and quality of life of our employees, who are considered the main capital of the organization.

These values are framed within the conceptual framework of the organization’s development, which includes: voluntary and open membership, democratic management, economic participation of members, autonomy and independence, education, training and information, cooperation, and community engagement.

Perfil: This project is aimed at young people between 18 and 30 years old who have not previously taken part in any European volunteering project (EVS or ESC). Priority will be given to young people with fewer opportunities.

The selection process will focus on attitude, willingness to participate, motivation, and commitment to the values of the project rather than on the candidates’ knowledge or skills.

We value responsibility, initiative, patience, the ability to manage interpersonal conflicts effectively, as well as enthusiasm and willingness to take part in the different activities offered.

No young person who wishes to participate in our project will be excluded for any reason (economic difficulties; social or geographical obstacles; cultural or ideological differences; sexual orientation; age; ethnicity; gender or gender identity; etc.).

Tarefas: The volunteer will be involved in our social intervention projects and activities, which include:
- Schools: socio-cultural and social intervention projects.
- Leisure activities: workshops, summer schools, camps, reconciliation centers for work–family balance, extracurricular activities, etc.
- Training and support for families.
- Social and professional integration.
- Health education.
- Socio-educational and psychosocial support for children, adolescents, and young people.
- Training and support for groups at risk of social exclusion.
- Prevention of situations leading to social exclusion.
- International youth exchanges.
- Training courses on various topics.
- Parenting schools.
- Street and community-based activities.

In addition, the volunteer will also take part in:
- Workshops and presentations about the European Solidarity Corps Programme in secondary schools and at the University.
- Creating monthly content to share the organization’s activities, helping to disseminate and promote the results of the project.

Horário: The volunteer’s weekly schedule will range between 30 and 38 hours. A variety of tasks will be assigned throughout the project.

The volunteer will have a split schedule, meaning activities will take place in the mornings and afternoons, Monday to Friday. Occasionally, work may be required on a Saturday or weekend; in such cases, the volunteer will receive compensatory days off or additional vacation days.

The regular timetable will be as follows (subject to change depending on project needs):

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (09:30 – 12:30): office work at the office, including administrative tasks, support for women, and assistance to other community groups.

Mondays to Thursdays (16:00 – 20:00): at various schools, supporting children in extracurricular, leisure, and educational activities.

Special schedule in July: During the month of July, the volunteer will follow a continuous schedule from 09:00 to 14:00, Monday to Friday.

Condições: Accommodation: Volunteers will live in individual rooms within a shared flat in the city, together with other volunteers. The flat and rooms will be fully equipped. Utility costs (electricity, water, gas, and internet) will be covered by the lead organization, up to a maximum of €30 per volunteer per month.

Deposit: The volunteer will be asked to provide a deposit of €370, which will be reimbursed at the end of the project if the private room and common areas are left clean, tidy, and undamaged, and provided that the volunteer does not leave the project before its official end without a justified reason.

Pocket money: The volunteer will receive €186 per month, as established by the Spanish National Agency.

Food allowance: The volunteer will receive €184 per month for food expenses.

Local transport: Each volunteer will have the option to choose between a bicycle or a bus card provided by the hosting organization, if needed.
