Resumo: The hosting organization, is a social cooperative that works with people with disabilities in residential communities. The organization offers services aimed at improving the quality of life of its guests, supporting their autonomy and well-being. The organization provides not only health-related assistance, but also focuses on personal and social development.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

We are looking for open-minded, empathetic, and motivatedvolunteers who are ready to spend 12 months in a foreign countryworking with people with disabilities and experiencing life in a socialcommunity. We particularly welcome candidates with a strong motivation toexplore the field of social work and a genuine interest in spendingtime with the beneficiaries, participating in their daily activities, andsupporting them through both practical and relational tasks. Flexibility, patience, and willingness to adapt to a new environmentare essential. Previous experience — even informal or as a volunteer— in the social field is appreciated but not mandatory. A basic knowledge of Italian or at least of English is required tofacilitate communication and integration.

Tarefas: • Educational and daily support in residential communities
• Organizing leisure activities and accompanying residents to events
• Supporting the cooperative’s communication and external relations

Condições: • Shared apartment accommodation (private room)
• Pocket money: €6/day + €150/month
• Round-trip travel reimbursement (ESC distance band)
• Language course, training sessions, and mentorship
