Resumo: The municipality is carrying out several actions aimed at developing the open-mindedness of its inhabitants by raising awareness of European values.
The reception of young people from the European Solidarity Corps is a good way to raise awareness among many inhabitants, in schools, social action centres, retirement homes, etc.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
You want to discover France? its culture? its history? its gastronomy? Are you a curious young person? Are you ready to share your ideas and creativity? Would you like to exchange ideas with the inhabitants of your country? You'll be working with a wide range of people: young schoolchildren, students, twinning committees, senior citizens, etc. This offer is made for you! Creativity, autonomy and public speaking will be your new skills. Bring your umbrella: the climate is temperate!

Tarefas: to promote European values among local residents. How? Work with schools, local cultural centers, young people at the vacation center and the elderly, ensuring a regular presence in these structures, running a language café to spread your own culture, organizing events around Europe.

Other tasks: Communicating via social networks, helping to organize city events, various administrative tasks... You could also work in other city departments (cultural action, media library...). Team of 3 - 20 colleagues on site.

Horário: You'll work from Tuesday to Friday, from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5pm.
You will have days off: 2.5 days / month

Condições: The 2 volunteers will be housed in the same 70m2 apartment, located in the town center 10 minutes' walk from the town hall: 2 bedrooms, shared bathroom with separate WC, WIFI. You will be responsible for managing and cleaning the premises.
Within walking distance of the swimming pool, cinema, gym, supermarkets, train station... You'll receive EUR 8 a day for meals and EUR 8 pocket money + EUR 309 for your return trip. You'll be expected to walk regularly in the city.
