Resumo: (Volunteering in a Language Kindergarten)
For children in the kindergatten is a possibility to learn English and other foreign languages. The kindergarten also focuses to offer many kinds of learning possibilities: sports, gymnastic and movement classes; music, concerts and shows for children; workshops on etiquette, ecology, culture and technology; meetings with artists, book authors, painters and musicians; travel and culinary activities.

The other hosting organization is an Association. It was founded over ten years ago as a response to the most poignant concerns of everyday life, especially those that wreck the dreams of children and youth. The association works in the area of pedagogy, social animation and also in children and youth events.

Tarefas: RESPONSIBILITIES IN KINDERGARTEN:

+ Supporting the teacher with managing the group of children in a safe manner in the classroom and outside.
+ Supporting young children in self-help activities like helping in dressing up, feeding, leading the child by the hand somewhere if needed etc).
+ Presenting your country and culture to children and teachers by running workshops, creating visual aids, dances and other activities.
+ Engaging in and supporting events in the hosting organization (e.g. Christmas party, Children's Day, Mother's Day and Dad's Day, etc.).
+ Creating and supporting arts and crafts workshops according to interest and skills/ different art techniques.
+ Creating workshops according to your interests (ecological, dance, art, drawing, playing musical instruments, theatre, etc.).
+ Running language activities for children (teach your native language or English). This can be a part of an everyday routine not only during special activities.
+ Making teaching aids for classes according to the participant's ideas and according to the suggestions of other teachers.
+ Proposing and organizing activities promoting the project and its results (e.g. keeping a wall newspaper about ESC in the kindergarten hall with pictures, news about workshops, writing a blog, reports, doing picture documentation).

RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE FOUNDATION:
+ The volunteer working in this hosting organization is mainly creating and supporting arts and crafts workshops according to their interest and skills/ different art techniques for people different age.
+ Creating other workshops according to their interests (ecological, dance, art, drawing, playing musical instruments, theatre, etc.).

Horário: Volunteering hours are 35 hours per week (6 hours per day in host org. + 5 extra hours per week for planning activities for local events) that promote the project and the European Solidarity Corps. Part of the week (2-3 days) the volunteer will work in a kindergarten and the other part.

Condições: - Polish language course (twice a week, 4 school hours that are included in work hours).
- Obligatory on-arrival and mid-term training in Poland.
- 6 hours of work per day (35 hours in host.org. per week + 5 hours for extra activities outside the host.org.).
- All the required medical examinations, 4-day training in our office to get participants started, health and safety training in host.org. are provided at the beginning of the project.
- Monthly pocket money is 150 EUR a month.
- Food money is 550 PLN a month. This money is enough to buy basic food to cook at home, not to go to restaurants.
- Reimbursement of the travel costs from the city of origin to Wroclaw and back (up to the amount based on the ESC Distance Calculator, the excessive amount will be paid by the participant).
- Local transportation card (for trams, buses and night buses).
- Place in a double room in a flat shared with other participants or students (with Internet access, equipped kitchen, clean towels and bedsheets). The flats have a student standard.
- Mentor's support throughout the entire project.
- Support of a special mentor and additional support (e.g. psychologist) for participants who experience obstacles in their lives (health issues, geographic, social, educational, economic obstacles).
