Resumo: This project concerning a polyhandicap public, this serious handicap with multiple expressions like mobility deficiency and mental deficiency, involving an extreme autonomy restriction and possibilities of perception, expression and relation, the volunteer who wants to involve in this project must be aware of the intervention complexity with the concerned public. A referent tutor, at activity level within the hosting organisation will be indicated to support the volunteer throughout the activity.

The Handas organisation philosophy rests on the right to education and the care, the respect of the person dignity, the place of the families in the global project, the respect of the life steps, the personalization of the intervention, the interdisciplinary and the qualification of the personnel, the architectural design, formation-research. Considering the dependence connected to the handicap, it is a question of insuring the persons the biggest material and psycho-emotional safety.

AIXE SUR VIENNA, Aissa in occitan, is a town of 5600 habitants, 11 kilometres from LIMOGES. It is served from Limoges by many bus lines and by train. This city has also reception facilities and leisure with camp-site, swimming pool, tennis, bases canoe-kayak on Vienna. Many traditional demonstrations, as the festival of the cider, sweet chestnut, pink, threshing-machine etc make the culture of this territory at the Limoges doors. Many markets and the porcelain manufacture with a porcelain house finish this panorama.
The volunteer will be accommodated within the flat renting park of Aixe on Vienna in a single room, having the necessities in the autonomy (kitchen, toilet and shower). The meals and the lunch will be taken within the framework of the association, the strongest moments in this association being the meals, the weekend meals will be taken in accommodation covered by a financial fixed price. The local movements will be made has foot, the association being at most has 1km of the hosting organisation.

Perfil: We would wish that the hosted volunteer have a level of schooling allowing a professional project centred towards education, animation in his country of origin or the resumption of studies in relation with psychology, social act, socio cultural animation or health.

Volunteer must have wishes to discover an intervention in multi-field team involving handicapped persons.

He will be ready for a 12 months duration EVS.

It's Altea France who collects all the applications as coordination organisation, then classify them according to the volunteers desire, then they subject us ALL the applications concerned that we can make our choice. Altea France intervenes in the recruitment process to realize a representative sample group of Europe when at the volunteer's origins. Altea France take care also has what the applicants can apply to a voluntary service (age, country, etc.) and they presents us the files of the candidates by acting as advice.

All EVS requests must be sending by mail to the ALTEA FRANCE office.

Tarefas: The activities of the volunteer will be adapted to his desires, his aptitudes, his possibilities and his knowledge. It will be proposed to volunteer a discovery of social work, reception and diversified training of the adult handicapped people.

Condições:
The Altea France responsible for mission will ensure the follow-up and the support of the volunteers. He will practice the function of tutor and will regularly meet the volunteer to give a progress report during the entire project, and for help him to solve possible problems. It will ensure any support which the volunteer could need apart from his reception facilities. It will facilitate the integration of the volunteer in Limousin community. It will have the responsibility to take care of leisure dimension, cultural activities and he will suggest to the volunteers to discover our way of life and our culture.

In conflict case, a co-ordinating meeting will be organized with all the EVS actors concerned (Volunteer, Host, Coordination, Regional Correspondent, Third). A permanent listening of the volunteer will be ensured by the tutor to prevent this kind of situation.

Altea France will take care, throughout volunteer stay, to give him a linguistic formation adapted according to his level and his needs by a personal trainer recruited by our care. The proposed French courses are during 3 hours a week, on Wednesday afternoon, with an only dedicated professor has the French learning by EVS in Limoges, what represent an 8 person's group maximum.

In the case or the volunteer wish carrying a personal project, not being registered in the reception facilities field, Altea France will assume his accompaniment for the assembly of this one.
