Resumo: You will work at a French inter-municipal structure organized around 5 poles including the Service to the Population, where volunteers work in the fieldsrelated to culture, youth and children animation and sport.

You will have the opportunity to work with a large team and a very broad audience : from small children toa dults. Being in a very rural environment where not everyone is sensitive to interculturality and practice a foreign language, the role of this project is fundamental for the structure to promote openness towards others and different cultures.

Tarefas: Activities for all the volunteers:

Linguistic Cafe
The volunteers are in charge of the preparation and animation ofthe linguistic cafe

Babies Animation
The volunteers prepare animations to share their languages and their cultures with children from 0 to 4 years old

Intercultural meal
The volunteers prepare a mealfor everyone to discover the traditional food of their countries

Mission 1
The volunteer works at the recreation centers with children from 3 to 12 years old

Mission 2
The volunteer works with children and teenagers from 6 to 16 years old at the sports service centre.
He/She participates to biking activities at the bike school and other collective sports in school

Mission 3
The volunteer participates to projects, animations, camps with youth from 13 to 18 years old
He/She shares his/hersculture and language
He/She creates contents for the social media of the teenagers service

Mission 4
The volunteer works with children and youth to promote intercultural and mobility.
He/she will do some interventions in class with children, with youth for events intercultural.
He/she will propose some tool to promote the mobility

Horário: You have the right to two days off per month and two days of rest per week.
You will work from Monday to Friday noon, sometimes you may have tasks for the evening or the week-end but you will have your days of rest. Moreover, during Christmas holidays you will have more or less two free weeks.

Condições: Accommodation
A home with an intercultural atmosphere
All the 4 volunteers will stay in a big furnished house, with 4 rooms and a shared kitchen, living room,2 bathrooms and a toilet. A big gardenis there for you to enjoy the sunny days. There is a washing machine and the Wi-Fi.

At home, you will find sheets,covers and blankets andeverything you need to cook: pots,plates and cutlery. There is also avideo projector.

For you to move around, there are two cars to share during the whole year. All the fuel expenses are covered. Each volunteer will also have a bike and the office is just 10 minutes walk from the house.

If you need a bank account or a simcard in France, we can accompany you and help with the procedures.

You will receive a monthly grant of 430 euros for your pocket money and food. You will also be given a card for free access to the cinema and the summerpool.

At the office, we provide three laptops for the volunteers.


WHAT TO PACK
During the missions, you will take part in activities and will promote your own culture, you will there fore have to bring : sport shoes,comfortable clothes, a swimsuit and a towel, summer cap, traditional clothes or accessories of your country for your cultural night
