Resumo: (Youth Space)
The youth center is the largest open youth work center in Lithuania and consist of 7 open youth spaces.
The hosting organization is just one of them.
The main aim of our organization is to get to know the youngsters and tend to their needs: organize workshops, help with homework or writing projects, organize summer camps, cook together, watch movies, play table tennis together, etc.

The youth center focuses on open youth work - maintaining a safe space for youngsters from different backgrounds to socialize and spend their time after school, work, or university.
Open space means we are inclusive and open to various cultures, beliefs, religions, and music tastes!

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: We place our volunteers in the shoes of a youth worker, so your responsibilities would look something like this:

• Participating in open evenings (Monday to Friday 16:00-20:00);
• Interacting with our visitors (young people from 14 to 29 y.o.);
• Helping to organize movie nights, various tournaments, sleepovers etc.;
• Attending On arrival and Midterm trainings;
• Helping execute summer camps;
• Initiating a personal project (your own initiative).

Condições: You will be living in the apartment near the bus&train station.
The apartment has two separate bedrooms, a balcony, a shared kitchen, a toilet room, and a bathroom (with a washing machine). Kitchen utensils, bedding, towels, and other necessities will be provided.

You will be living close to the old town (10 min on foot), so there will be every opportunity to discover the city by
walking. Nonetheless, you will be provided with a bus card for further explorations.

Every month you will be getting 150 € pocket money and 150 € for food. As settling in is the most expensive period
we recommend having some savings at least for the first few months.

They will be reimbursed in the month after your arrival and after filling the final rapport.
Your travel expenses will be reimbursed after the Erasmus+ distance bands, depending on how far you live
from our city. :)
