Resumo: (youth center)
The hosting organization is a child- and youthcenter and is open for children and teenagers between the age of 10 and 14 years and their parents. We offer space for exploration inside and outside of our building and we also work together with different social institutions and groups. We offer an open and informal learning space and many opportunities for kids, to spend their free time with us. Our institution is also a secure place to explore. It is also important for our team to take care of people with special needs and disabilities. Therefore, we take alook at the social background of the district and consider the special needs of socially disadvantaged children. We want to offer alternative leisure activities instead of conventional options.
Perfil: Age: 18-30
Volunteer profile: Skills in organising, flexibility, ability to work independently, interest in public relations and working on the computer, interest in working with people of different nationalities, open for foreign cultures and religions.
Tarefas: Our volunteers support us to run the place and help with daily procedures. There is a lot of time to participate in
any activities with the kids: play games, just talk and hang out and listen to very loud music. The volunteers give
our place the extra spirit to make it a happy place for all of us. There are a lot of opportunities to organize own
projects depending on someone’s individual skills and interests.
