Resumo: (Kindergarten)
The Montessori kindergarten offers 116 children,from one year to school age, space for playing, learning and living. Next to their own rooms, the children can use ancillary rooms as well,like a restaurant, exercise- or Snoezelroom to enjoy living to their owndevelopment needs. Around the house is a large garden where the children can find numerous elements to enjoy life, such as playing football, climbing, playing in the sand, etc. The children are supervised by professional teachers and supported after the principle Help me to do it by myself. The main axiom developed by Maria Montessori. She founded a concept in the 20th century defined by the support and recognition of the child as a human being with all its facets and rights.
Each child is respected as an individual, valued and supported according to his personal needs.
key element of our concept, next to the Montessori method and the movement, is defined through the bilingual Spanish – German.
Perfil: Age: 18-30
Important: volunteer ‘s mother toungue should be Spanish!
We are looking for a dedicated, responsible, and enthusiastic volunteer to join our kindergarten team. The ideal candidate should have experience working with children or a genuine passion for child development, along with patience, creativity, and the ability to engage children in fun and educational activities. Open-mindedness and the ability to work with diverse groups, along with strong communication skills, are essential.
Tarefas: The volunteer has the opportunity to grow with his/her tasks and acquire and develop independence, tolerance, communication skills, as well as professional and social competence. The focus is on using the Spanish language in daily basic communication.T he children should hear Spanish as often as possible and innatural situations. The volunteer will support the duties of the educators. After sufficient introduction to day-to-day nursery work, the volunteer can, in consultation with the educator, develop own projects or activities. The themes of the projects can vary from environmental offers, music, drama, sports, games, creative and cognitive services.
Horário: Volunteering app. 30-35 hours/week
Condições: Accommodation is offered in a private room in a shared apartment
You will live in a cozy shared apartment with 1 or 2 other volunteers. We have 5 apartments in two buildings next to each other that share a big garden. The rent will be covered so you won´t have to pay for it.
