Resumo: The Hosting organization is an old former bakery which had been abandoned for ten years, until 2010. A motivated bunch of people took over and breathed life into the building. It has now become a successful platform for cultural exchange and social innovation, which aims to enable people to share knowledge and know-how on cultural themes and topics of social interest.

There is no specific target group of the organization – we have a wide range of activities suitable for a big spectrum of audience. Whether someone wants to host weekly Yoga classes, music workshops, regular start up meetings or organize a concert or any kind of artistic endeavor, we provide support to make it happen.

The organization is a place for experimentation, offering an easy-to-use frame to try things out in our location, which has a usable surface of 1000m². It should not be seen just a venue for event promoters to rent. The goal is to support people in turning their ideas into reality, organize events and projects together and support local social entrepreneurs who are implementing a sustainable and creative business practice.
Moreover, we try to mix different groups of interests, ages and genres to create an untypical situation which can turn out fruitful in the sense of communication, exchange and networking.
The aim is to get people to take part in events - workshops, concerts and longer-term projects - in order to spread the idea of arts and culture as a powerful tool for change.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: Proactivity - you will part of the team at the organization and will need to bring pro-active energy and engagement - you need to bring in own ideas and contribution to fill your working time. we´ll provide good guidance.

Culture Event Management - you will become a part of the culture team. which means that you willbe involved in conceptualization, organization, preparation and carrying out of the events. The volunteers are more than welcome to bring in their ideas and enthusiasm. next to that, you will be also doing evening shifts for the events, the same as everyone else in the culture team. We are also organizing a big festival during the summer months.

Web content - you should be interested in and would like to learn how to create web content (photos and videos) for our social media channels and website.

Maintenance of the space - the whole team of the organization is taking care that our Cafe, seminar rooms and event location looks nice and welcoming. Spending time in the space during day time is also a wonderful opportunity to tearn all the amazing colleactives of the house & people that come to use our consume free Cafe space for their studies, work or hangouts.

Personal Project - during the course of the project, we will guide and support you in developing your own personal project, weather it be an event, campaign, workshop, exhibition, whatever fits to your creative interests.

you will work in a diverse and international team, where English as well as German are used day-to-day. you will need to participate in regular team meetings and supervisions (weekly, or sometimes more often).

Idea development is a huge part of the organization cultural work - there are several brainstorming and project implementtation meetings every week.
