Tarefas: You will work each weekday morning for 4 hours under the guidance of a professional mason and local residents. You’ll learn various techniques and participate in the rehabilitation of a public garden wall and the restoration of the church square. If you have extra time or want to mix things up, no worries—the Arvieu Castle site is an ongoing, beautiful worksite, and the team will be happy to have your help. You will also take part daily in maintaining the premises andpreparing meals. Meal planning will be a collective effort, aimingfor a balanced diet based on your preferences/dietary needs andlocal, seasonal products. Cooking is considered part of theworksite, just like the construction activities.
Condições: You’ll be housed at Arvieu Castle, a beautiful building set within several wooded hectares, just a 5-minutewalk from the village center. Sleeping arrangements are shared dormitory-style rooms with communal bathrooms on the same floor. Curtains are available in dorms for extra privacy. You will need to bring your own sleeping bag. Wi-Fi access is available, but the connection is open and very unstable. A washing machine is available for reasonable and scheduled use. On the castle’s ground floor, you’ll find a large, friendly dining room next to a kitchen that will be used to prepare your daily meals. Meals will be healthy, local, and primarily vegetarian. Two meat-based meals will be offered each week. You’ll also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining your living spaces daily.
LEISURE ACTIVITIES

There are many hiking trails, such as those around Lake Pareloup, for sporty exploration of the region. You can even go geocaching right in Arvieu.
