Resumo: These are fundamental objectives of the community of the hosting organization: to put children and adolescents at the center of local efforts and to strengthen families and to build facilities for children and young people in the local community.

We have twpo locations in Rimpar
1. The community youth work currently includes the following key tasks:
- Youth centers: open youth work (hip-hop project, go-karting, graffiti, etc.)
- Hüttendorf – Project: management adventure playground in the summer holidays in close cooperation with the parents' initiative
- Holiday programs: organizing, planning and carrying out of actions and measures in the Easter, Whitsun and autumn holidays
- Outreach Youth Work: join with young people at their meeting points, addressing their issues, promoting them in the market town of hearing, but also address negative impacts of their actions and needs
- Barbecue Project: since 2007 Design, Build and Maintain the square with teacher Michael Walter and his respective classes of Maximilian Kolbe School
- Universal Children's Da: in September on the barbecue
- Networking - Intern with clubs and associations, the Friends KiJuRim, the two Christian churches and the local companies and businesses, market Ext with other social workers especially in the district of Würzburg, inter alia, the network youth work e.V.,
- cooperation with authorities such as District Office and police coordination of rubbish collection etc.

2. After school activities (Hort)
In the Hort Tintenklecks we look after 50 children aged 6-12 years. The children come there after school and get a warm meal with starter and dessert. In the afternoon we support the children with their homework. After they can make a lot of arts, games, creative activities, handicraft etc. Even in
the holiday season, the children can come from 7.30-17.00 clock . There we offer a colorful leisure program. Above all, the children appreciate our attractive and extensive outdoor area and the use of the gym.
The Hort understands itself as a state approved, family supportive and complementary facility. By educating children to become independent and responsible people, in which each individual,
regardless of their performance, is accepted and respected, we are able to create a place of security. We try to convey values and orientation to children of different cultures, different ages and orientations.


The volunteers will have the chance to participate in the organisation of different tasks and events and, if applicable, execute them. There will be the chance to propose own ideas and realize them.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The work of the volunteer in Markt Rimpar currently includes the following key tasks:
- Youth Centre in Rimpar: open youth work
- Childrens Centre (Tintenklecks): animation, games etc. with children
- Hüttendorf – Project: management adventure playground in the summer holidays in close cooperation with the parents' initiative
- Holiday programs: organizing, planning and carrying out of actions and measures in the Easter, Whitsun and autumn holidays
- Outreach Youth Work: join with young people at their meeting points, addressing their issues, promoting them in the market town of hearing, but also address negative impacts of their actions and needs
- office work of the communal youth work.
The volunteer will have the chance to participate in the organisation of different tasks and events and, if applicable, execute them. There will be the chance to propose own ideas and realize them.
The volunteer will support the Youthcentres in Rimpar and the Childrens Centre (Hort) regularily.
The volunteer should learn to work as a team, to improve new methods of working with young people, to be more self-confident and independent, to improve their foreign language skills etc.

The volunteer will get known the whole sphere of the work there, will be involved and she can chose the focus of her interest so that she can develop her own project, which can be carried out by support of the team.
The volunteer will receive support in the team. There are regular guide conversations held between the volunteer and the project, in which the work and insets of the volunteer are with her evaluated and reflected. So that all the questions can be cleared, problems detected and difficulties can be fixed.
The volunteer is not only involved in the project and co-work in the team but he is as well integrated in a network of volunteers, who are staying in or around Würzburg accomplishing their ESC projects. The coordinator from the supporting organization offers regularly appointments for all volunteers. This is as well the chance for volunteers to discuss potential difficulties in the project, in relation to culture, living, forming a living on his own, homesickness and others. Because of this it may be possible to uncover the problems quite early and to handle it before the escalation shall come.
