The volunteer will work closely with the educational assistant and will gradually gain autonomy on several missions. We are looking for a curious, open-minded person, capable of working both in a team and independently. The volunteer will have to demonstrate motivation and initiative, particularly to imagine and set up new workshops, while ensuring the continuity of existing activities, such as the philosophy café and the film debate. An interest in philosophy, cinema and leading debates is therefore desirable but not mandatory.

The volunteer will also be able to offer workshops on other themes that are close to their heart. Desired profile: Comfortable with leading groups Taste for office work (a good part of the missions are done in the office) Good level of French and English appreciated (but not mandatory) No specific technical skills are required: motivation remains the main selection criterion.

Please add the word squirrel to your cover letter to see if you have read carefully, and avoid using chatgpt :) we advise you to take a good look at our site where each activity is presented and see if you like it!

Tarefas: The volunteer will have several missions:
1) Co-organize and search for new partners and maintain partnerships with the Red Cross Centers for local projects (called "W.I.TH: We instead of them)
2) Host the film debate and philosophy café OR create new workshops according to your tastes :)
3) Propose activities and lead the buddy group
4) Prepare and lead non-formal education workshops in schools
5) Lead information sessions for volunteers
6) Participate in a first project as a volunteer in September: the Folk Festival
7) Be a team leader on several projects
8) Participate in awareness-raising activities and fairs on international volunteering

Condições: The volunteer will be housed in a shared apartment with four other volunteers from other organizations, where they will have their own room. The apartment is approximately 25 minutes from the office by public transport. The volunteer will have a monthly pass for public transport in the Region.
