Resumo: (Community Engagement Volunteer)
The Youth Center is home to two youth centers in one building. The basement level serves youth aged 12-19, while the first floor is for children aged 7-11. We are looking for two separate volunteers to support these age groups. You will be a great addition to theteam of 7 youth workers

Ready to have a unique experience in the second largest city in Estonia
Tarefas: Volunteers will assist youth workers, engage with young people, and help with events and activities. The older youth center offers a pool table, table football, and Xbox gaming, while both centers provide a welcoming space for socializing and activities, all free of charge.
Our team supports youth beyond the center by guiding initiatives, organizing workshops, and planning city-wide events like Youth Day. The 12-18 y.o. center also promotes health and well-being through weekly clubs and activities.
Condições: Accommodation
The volunteer will live in a shared double room or single room a bus ride away from the workplace
Language Support
The volunteer will have access to Online Language Support to learn Estonian.
General Support
The volunteer will be paired with a local mentor for support and guidance.
Regular meetings with volunteers, tutors and coordinators will assess progress, set goals, and foster social connections.
Extra Activities
The volunteers will take part in different events and fairs to promote European Solidarity
Corps and the Erasmus+ programme. They also have an opportunity to create their own initiative project inside or outside their hosting organisation.
Allowance
Each month a volunteer receives a total of 345€ of pocket and food money.
Training Cycle
The volunteer will have on-arrival and mid-term training provided by the Estonian National Agency.
Quarterly get-togethers with all NÜH volunteers take place to support collaboration and create connections.
Transport
Travel costs to and from Estonia are covered based on the Erasmus+ distance calculator. VISA expenses are also reimbursed, and a local transportation card is provided if needed.
Insurance
The volunteer will have Henner Health Insurance.
