Resumo: The hosting organization is an NGO focused on European mobility, non-formal education and rural development based in Italy. It provides learning and growing opportunities to young people and youth workers.
Our vision is to contribute to the development of society, to promote, disseminate and apply through education the values of equality, freedom and care for the environment.

Volunteers’ main tasks (Important: The programme is flexible and it may be that some of the tasks will be replaced. Be ready to experience yourself in different fields.)
- Take care of green areas: Weeding pedestrian roads and other activities on green areas. Helping in the garden
- Renovation works as scratching old paint from walls and repaint them, create furniture out of recycled wood, build flower beds and more
- Cooking: cook for yourself and for the other summer volunteers. Volunteering Summer Fest is a self-managed community!
- Festival of the town: support in planning and realizing annual festival of Bergolo
The plan is to make small groups that rotate on different tasks so you can learn different things and don't get bored doing the same for 1 month

Preparation
Selection of the volunteers, preparation for the travel.
At this stage volunteers will receive support from our coordinators and facilitators

Volunteering Summer Fest
Volunteers and coordinators meet in Bergolo and implement the program as described above. They also have the chance to discover the local area in their free time and to enjoy local events. They make a plan on how to use what they learned once back home.
September-October 2025
Follow-Up
Volunteers are back in their countries, we will support them with implementing the plan they decided previously. They also share on their socials outcomes produced in the project, and complete other follow up tasks
Condições: During 7 days volunteers will be asked to disconnect from devices and engage in various activities to discover themselves and their relationships with others.
This immersive experience, guided by supervisors, aims to foster genuine human connections.
Instead of being online, we will engage in various live interactions to stimulate creativity, empathy, and teamwork. It's a regular practice we implement during our projects and we will ensure a safe space for participants to be secure that disconnection will lead to positive results
Pocket Money
You will receive 6€/day for your living money. That is not a payment for the support given, but a flat rate refund for small expenses.
Food & accommodation
Volunteers will be provided with a place for cooking and will receive a weekly budget for the group in order to cook all together. This project is aimed to promote vegan/vegetarian approach. Participants will live together in a hostel.
Travel reimbursement
10 - 99 km = 28€
100 - 499 km = 211€
500 - 1999 km = 309€
2000 - 2999 km = 395€
3000 - 3999 km = 580€
Insurance
Besides the European Health insurance card, you are going to be offered private volunteering insurance HENNER.
Local transports
Volunteers will receive bicycles that they can use in the free time. Once a week they will have the chance to go to the supermarket by car.
