Resumo: (Rural School)
The leader organization is a non-profit and non- governmental organization, which has been developing projects in order to promote non-formal and informal learning since 2014.

Main aims are:
a) To promote formal, non-formal and informal learning projects
b) To create learning bridges in between different cultures.
c) To promote European and international mobility.
d) To collaborate with organizations, private and public, in the promotion of social, educative and cultural projects that promote the complete development of people
e) To promote equality and social justice through national and international development cooperation projects.
f) To collaborate with initiatives that aim to create organization, networks and local working groups related to the aims.
g) To boost the inclusion of people with fewer opportunities.
h) To enhance participation and associationism.
i) To support the creation and management of new associations.
We work on different topics: gender, inclusion, learning support, entrepreneurship, emotions, healthy relationships, teamwork…

Our NGO has been dedicated since the beginning of its time to requesting projects within Erasmus+, (KA1) Mobility of Youth Workers in the Field of Youth (We are currently an accredited entity until 2027).

Perfil: Age: 18-30
Due to the nature of this volunteer project, in a rural area and that will work with children, we need:
- High motivation to accompany children in their school activities with a caring and supportive approach, connected with Amara Berri methodology
- Person committed and mature
- Negative certificate of sexual misdemeanors
- Negative certificate of criminal/penal misdemeanors
- High motivation to develop the project in a very isolated rural area in the mountains

we believe in INCLUSION, GENDER EQUITY, SOCIAL JUSTICE, SUSTAINABILITY and we have an ANTI-RACIST and DECREASING approach as organization principles.

Tarefas: In this School, families and adults in the area are involved in this educational project, participating through learning communities, under the training and guidance of teachers and staff educational. It takes place in a family atmosphere, living closely with each person who participates in the programs, with the families, with professionals and anyone who is involved to make the day-to-day life of the school so easy and so special for the boys and girls. The small groups make the teachers' work have a very high performance while giving them the opportunity to treat each student individually, maximizing their abilities. The tasks are related with supporting teachers and children in their daily life classes and the life in the school, also out of the classes.

Condições: We are located in a very small village, located one hour and a half by car from the city center and 3 hours away by public transport.

The leader organization will be in charge of accommodation (one house for you and other volunteers to live), for food and transport arrangements according to the European Solidarity Corps standards.
