Resumo: (primary school)
The volunteers will work in a Primary School in a town with a population of about 17000 citizens. This beautiful town is located among lakes and forests, and has got an interesting history and unique pre-war architecture.

The school's mission is to implement the slogan `One school, many opportunities´, promoting values such as access to a diverse program, social justice, respect for cultural diversity, and mutual communication. Volunteers are invited to help fulfill this mission.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
We are looking for young, motivated people who like working with children and want to gain or improve their skills in non-formal education. You may have previous experience as an educator, or it may be something you'd like to pursue.

The most important thing is that you are willing to learn, you’re patient, open-minded, sociable, creative and that you are a good team-player.
The volunteers will assist in classes and other activities, so a good level of English, basic Polish, or motivation to learn is more than welcome.

Tarefas: Volunteers will work with children and youth (7 to 14 years old). Their tasks will consist of assisting in different classes and school activities, preparing materials and decorations, participation in various events of the local community. There will also be a space to share with the children volunteers’ personal interests and passions. During summer vacation, the volunteers will coordinate and participate in international volunteering projects.

Condições: The volunteers will share a fully-equipped flat and each will have his_her own bedroom. The school (and basically everything else) is within walking distance from the flat. The volunteers receive a fixed amount of a monthly food allowance and pocket money.
