Resumo: (elderly care)
The hosting organizaiton is a house for people in the elderly care. There live in two flats 22 people.
Perfil: Age: 18-30
Tarefas: The volunteer can bring in his culture, abilities, ideas, creativity to present his way of living/culture/background into cooking, singing songs, creating free time activities with the people and so on. Therefore, it is up to the volunteer to define the project. We give the volunteer to settle into the organization and later on, the volunteer will be able to bring in his own ideas.
The volunteer will help in assistance and escort by daily routine, assistance and escort by free time activities, assistance by the needs from the people in the elderly care, participation on the social life, assistance household, cooking
Horário: Working hours: The volunteers will have a flexible programme, depending on a large array of factors. It will be maximum 9 hours/day distributed throughout the day as needed. Early morning duty (Frühdienst) ca. 6:00-15:00, day shift (Tagdienst) ca. 8:00-16:30, evening shift (Spätdienst) ca. 11:30-20:00 also on weekend, max. one in a month - a total of 25 hours a week.
Condições: Food/Meals: During the assignment period, volunteers are provided with food/meals free of charge at the assignment location. For the rest of the time (including public holidays and holidays), they receive a meal allowance of €160 per month.
Accommodation: The ESC volunteers will be accommodated in a flat near the hosting project, in a safe area with a room on their own together with other volunteers
In addition, all volunteers receive pocket money of about 180€ per month +200€ (Food)= 380€ and one German courses in Linz, as well as a bicycle. There is also an introductory course / school on social services every Wednesday and a climate ticket for Upper Austria for all public transport free of charge.
