Resumo: (Rural vocational centre)

The hosting organization is a vocational and rural training centre. It welcomes young people from 14 to 20 years old (80% are girls) for the initial and continuing education in Early Childhood.

Perfil: We are looking for 1 volunteer, from 18' up to 30'. Basic skills in French are requested aswell as competencies like adaptability, flexibility, organisation/communication skills, creativity, sense of initiative. Besides, we need volunteers with a good knowledge of IT tools to make posters, flyers... The volunteer must have the willingness to work withyoung people and to prepare activities with/for them. The candidate must be ready to go out his/her comfort zone to create a link with the students. Most importantly, he/she must be able to help to handle a group with dynamism.

Tarefas: - To raise young learners’ European awareness (foreign language learning, Europeanculture, etc.) through original methods (CV in English, Erasmus internship preparation)
- To lead cultural projects, to organize workshops on Citizenship, environmental awareness, on your culture/country, etc.
- To set up thematic weeks linked to European countries by promoting the cross-disciplinary teaching practices in the centre
- to escort school trips
- To give a new breath to the school
- To participate in the collective life of the boarding school by organizing workshops, debate, movie-debates, etc.
- To create a different link with the local partners by bringing a European touch

Condições: The volunteer will be accommodated in a studio flat in a youth accomodation in the city centre. Food: we give each month 240 € for all food expenditures but it's also possible to get lunch at the centre, for free.
Transports: we will give a monthly subscription for the bus network.
