Resumo: Our team is an NGO of youngsters which aims at promoting active participation of young people with fewer opportunities and to develop different ways to ensure their impact on the local community by using non-formal education and
intercultural learning methods.
We organize cultural events, workshops and local activities to promote the understanding and respect for diversity and cultural cooperation. Our target group is basically young people, but also we give to everyone interested, the opportunity to express their creativity and to share experiences, ideas and imagination in order to promote social cohesion, volunteering, tolerance, respect and diversity.

The organization is composed of about 150 members and numerous supporters, and deals with:
• education activities (education projects based on non- formal education methodology, focused on active citizenship, European conscience, youth employability, racism and xenophobia, human rights principles);
• cultural events (conferences, seminars, art exhibitions);
• intercultural activities (programmes and projects of youth mobility, education on international topics)

Perfil: The selected participants must: Have relevant experience in Erasmus+, youth work, volunteering, and basic knowledge of website design. Have basic knowledge of English. Be open-minded, communicative, and able to work in different groups. Be creative, eager to accumulate knowledge, and develop new skills and competencies to share with others. Be willing to participate proactively in all planned activities. Be aged 18-30 years old. Be able to work in a team. Have high motivation and the ability to lead youth activities. Be ready to learn and share skills.

Tarefas: This is an ESC project which aims to empower 4 young ESC volunteers with skills and competences, which will help them to strengthen their sense of citizenship, responsibility and initiative; improve their media literacy and critical thinking; digital and organizational skills; their career possibilities on labour market, give a chance to gain international experience, develop their tolerance and sense of solidarity and widen their horizons. The main objective of the ESC project is to provide participants with the opportunity to develop youth competencies, knowledge, and practical skills to support disadvantaged youth or young people with fewer opportunities. Volunteers will create activities aimed at the integration and promotion of European values.

Condições: Volunteers will be accommodated in a fully furnished flat close to the city center
Food and Pocket Money: Volunteers will receive a monthly budget for food and pocket money
Travel Support: Flight tickets will be reimbursed according to the Erasmus+ travel distance calculator
This opportunity combines principles of solidarity and volunteering as key instruments for the development of our local community. By promoting the value of volunteering and solidarity, we expect to increase the sense of European citizenship in youth
