The organization aims to integrate sustainable practices with cultural heritage, fostering innovation and community engagement. We strive to create a dynamic environment where art, design, and ecological awareness intersect, promoting a sustainable future while preserving historical significance.
Main Activities:
Residency Programs: Offering space for artists, designers, and researchers to develop and showcase their projects.
Workshops and Seminars: Regularly organized on topics like sustainable design, ecological practices, and cultural heritage.
Community Projects: Engaging local communities through collaborative projects that enhance cultural and environmental awareness.
Exhibitions and Events: Hosting exhibitions and public events to display residents' work and foster cultural exchange.
Target Groups:
Young Creatives: Individuals exploring the intersection of art, design, sustainability and entrepeneurship.
Local Communities: Residents of Frederiksoord and surrounding areas, engaging in cultural and ecological projects.
Educational Institutions: Schools and universities collaborating on research and educational programs.
Environmental Enthusiasts: Individuals and organizations promoting sustainable practices and environmental conservation.
Perfil: Age: 18-30
We welcome enthusiastic, hands-on individuals, especially those interested and with an (basic) experience in horticulture, landscaping, ecology, and heritage conservation. No prior experience is required—just curiosity, a willingness to learn, and a love for plants and the outdoors!
Tarefas: As an EU Solidarity Corps volunteer, you'll be part of transforming a historic 140-year-old site into a thriving hub for ecology, sustainable innovation, craftsmanship, and cultural exchange. We welcome enthusiastic, hands-on individuals, especially those interested and with an (basic) experience in horticulture, landscaping, ecology, and heritage conservation. No prior experience is required—just curiosity, a willingness to learn, and a love for plants and the outdoors!
Horário: What We Offer
1. Accommodation – A private room in our residence, shared with a vibrant community of artists, designers, researchers, and fellow volunteers.
