Resumo: An artistic event of current music, source of development and local dynamism, which contributed to the cultural expansion of this beautiful commune. The international chantier, at the heart of the festival, has an intercultural dimension rich in artistic and intergenerational exchanges.
Perfil: Age: 18-30
Tarefas: You will work with the organization's volunteers to prepare and set up the festival (site barriers, parking, etc.). Your missions will consist of setting up the park and making it attractive to welcome the public and helping the volunteers in the logistical management of the event. After the festival, you will help clean and tidy the site in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. In addition, you will participate in awareness-raising activities on interculturality and sustainable development.
Condições: You will sleep in tents (for 2 people), at the international reception house, where you will have access to all the accommodations at your disposal. You will have a vehicle at your disposal for transport to the site and also for discovering the region. Food will be provided for breakfast, lunch and dinner (you have a food budget that the facilitators will manage and communicate with you throughout the site).
Meals will be prepared, in turn, by you, especially for lunch and dinner while respecting environmental values and local resources, as well as the culture of each person (hot and cold dishes as well as vegetarian and vegan will be prepared). For the first week you will eat lunch at the, the second and third weeks you will eat lunch with the festival team (there will be a caterer on site with different menus to satisfy your appetite, whether vegetarian, vegan or other).
At the crossroads of several charming little villages in the south of Saintonge, you can fully enjoy the local heritage. Outside of construction time, you will take part in summer activities: the music festival, night markets and other visits to producers and tastings of their local products. Outings to the city, La Rochelle, Rochefort or Angoulême and a day at the ocean can be organized. Cognac and St-Emilion, towns that are witnesses to the French vineyard are also very close!
