Resumo: The association is a legal private law with nonpatrimonial purpose, independent, apolitical, established with the purpose of implementation of the Axis 4 LEADER from the National Program for Rural Development (NPRD) in the territory of the association, as a whole, and at the level of each of the 11 local administrative units (LAU), represented in the association, in particular through the development and the implementation of an integrated strategy for the local development, promoting partnerships of public-private partnerships, and the interconnection of local partnerships, cooperation between the local action groups (hereinafter referred to as the LAG’s), at regional, national and European level with a view to sustainable development and improved local governance through involvement and participation of the members of the communities represented by the LAG Banat-West to the process of local development.

The purpose of the association is to develop the area of the localities included in this association by developing and implementing an integrated Local Development Strategy by managing European non-reimbursable funds in order to increase the competitiveness of the agricultural sector, improve the environment and the rural area, implicitly, the increase of the quality of life and the diversification of economic activities in the territory represented by the association.

Perfil: Aged between 18 and 30 years. Flexible, open-minded, tolerant, communicative. Interested in gaining experience in pedagogy, special education, non-formal education and in working with young and elderly people . Willing to work in teams or individually with initiative and creativity. Having a minimum A2 level in English.

Tarefas: As part of the ESC long-term volunteering, the volunteers will have the chance to join in a wide range of activities in the organization Area that includes the town and 10 communes. These activities include daily educational and child-focused sessions for students of all ages, supporting youth centers to encourage social engagement, and intergenerational projects like painting with seniors or teaching English to children. Volunteers will also help organize cultural and volunteering events that promote tolerance, inclusion, and solidarity, as well as take part in photography activities that capture and share the spirit of the community

Condições: The volunteers will be hosted in a rented apartment / house, with single or double bedrooms. In the apartment / house there are all the necessary conditions for a good life. Rent and utilities (water, gas, electricity) also Transport and food and pocket money will be paid by the hosting NGO.
