Resumo: (sustainability and ecology, leading workshops)

The hosting organization develops and implements cutting-edge education programmes for young people and education professionals. Our international programmes give our participants the tools they need make Europe more democratic and sustainable. Our activities fall into three themes: contemporary history and human rights, inclusion, and social-ecological transformation. Activities can consist of youth exchanges, training courses, seminars, conferences, and publications.
Many of our events take place in Poland, but as a part of a large international partner network we organise activities all over Europe.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
The project has the following expectations towards the volunteer’s required skills and interests:
• strong interest in and passion for socio-ecological topics as well as transcultural learning
• interest in international youth exchanges, trainings, and non-formal education
• interest in contributing your own skills and testing yourself at seminars, etc.
• first experiences in project management
• willingness to travel
• ability to work in a responsible way, independently and as a part of the team
• knowledge of Office Programs (especially Outlook, Word and Excel)
• very good knowledge of English, at least at C1 level, is mandatory, knowledge of German is not mandatory, but an advantage
• knowledge of other languages is an advantage
• a BA and/or MA in a relevant field is not required, but an advantage

Tarefas: The volunteer will mainly support the department of social-ecological transformation. This includes the organisation and implementation of its youth exchanges and trainings:
• promoting educational activities in social media and the partner network
• supporting the conceptualisation of educational programmes
• assisting at international events on the ground
• developing own training sessions (as agreed with the team and according to own interests)
• preparing seminar material, info-packs, list of participants
• communicating with applicants and partners of the educational activities
• research of and contact with new project partners and organizations, e.g. active in the field of sustainability and climate communication

Furthermore, the volunteer will assist organization-Initiative with general administrative tasks.

Horário: The weekly working hours will be 30-35 hours; five days a week, while language classes count as working time.
As part of the international events, the project might include working at the weekends. The volunteer will receive compensation days the week after.

Condições: Pocket Money - The pocket money will be 7 Euro/day in monthly payments.
Public Transport - The volunteer will be reimbursed for the costs („Deutschlandticket“).

Description of the accommodation
Because of the housing shortage in the city it is very important that you are flexible about the accommodation: The coordinating organization will provide a shared apartment.

Food - The volunteer will receive food fee (333 Euro/month).
