Resumo: The hosting organization is a rural eco-pedagogic center, benefiting from the recognitions of Youth Center (CRH), Nature Center, Educational Farm and Social Tourism.
The organization enjoys a rural setting, yet is relatively close to major urban centres.
Our close collaboration with various local partners, from the environmental sector or not, allows us to develop many innovative and original activities and to reach a public sometimes closed to sustainability issues.

Our values are built around four key terms: CITIZENSHIP, SUSTAINABILITY, SOLIDARITY & WELFARE, in order to encourage our public, especially young people, to become Responsible, Active, Critical and Supportive Citizens. These values are carried and shared through Environmental Education and Sustainable Development.

At the crossroads of the tourism, education, environment and youth sectors, the organization welcomes more than 10,000 visitors a year, who enjoy both the exceptional setting and the activities offered by our association. All year long, the team, made up of experienced animators, offers training courses, green classes, workshops, walks, guides, training sessions, meetings... in order to share with everyone, especially with young people, the richness of the natural heritage.

Perfil: Age: 18-25
good level in English and a basic level in French. The volunteers should have the willingness to learn new competencies and improve their language skills. Access to online French courses will be provided. The volunteers should be motivated by living in a rural area, far from the city.

Tarefas: With us, you'll work and will be involved in all our activities : social tourism (creation of communication tools, point of contact for visiting tourists, support to the kitchen team, help with the bedrooms preparation and the family activities...) ; educational farm (animal care, goat milking and cheese making, workcamp, etc.) ; youth and voluntary work (european projects, participation to a workcamp as a campleader, eventual travels).
You'll be in contact with a lot of people : schools, youngsters from the local community, tourists, families with the possibility of practicing your educational talents in French with them by accompanying our team of trainers (17 people). Our values are Sustainability, Solidarity, Citizenship and Benevolence.

Condições: The organization has its own Youth Hostel with 51 beds. Each room has single beds and shared bathroom facilities and shared common spaces.
Food expenses are covered. On this basis, the organizatin provides meals from Monday to Friday and gives access to the kitchen during the week-end. The organization is located in the rural and remote village. Mobility is reduced since the public transportation is limited. In case of need, transportation between the organization and the closest train station can be organized by members of the team. Transportation to come/go to the project is covered.
