Resumo: The leader organization is a non-profit organisation committed to the protection of nature and environment in Croatia. Our aim is conservation of nature and environment as fundamental values of society, and acceptable management of natural resources by application of sustainable development. Croatian citizens are our target groups, because we protect the interests and the public's right to healthy environment and create solutions to conservation and rational use of natural resources. All of the activities and projects are based on two programmes: The Nature Conservation Programme and The Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development Programme. Main areas of our work are protected areas and Natura 2000 management, sustainable tourism, sustainable fisheries and waste management. We advocate for public participation, educate and inform the public in order to change values and behavior, we implement research in order to create background and guidance for protection measures and more effective action, we uphold responsible management based on the sustainable development

Perfil: Age: 18-30
Participants are not expected to have prior knowledge or experience in the field of nature and environmental protection or volunteering, although it can be considered a bonus. What is much more important and essential is that the person is eager to learn about it, adopt and practice sustainable habits in their daily life. Additionally, the following qualities are desirable:
- willingness to work flexible hours,
- a love for dynamic work,
- ability to work as part of a team,
- strong organizational, logistical, and operational skills
- willingness to cohabit in an apartment
- honesty - good communication skills

Tarefas: 1. Organising and implementing educational activities on the topic of nature conservation, environmental protection and sustainable development to bring positive changes to the community;
2. Encouraging active involvement through development of communication materials, their dissemination and work on social networks;
3. Uniting the local community through organisation of public green events (exhibitions, public celebrations, bicycle tours etc.);
4. Further greening Sunce’s project and programme activities based on research of the best available environmental practices and the promotion of results. The aim is to change and increase the level of environmentally responsible behaviour and encourage target groups for active participation in environmental protection.

Condições: Accommodation is provided in the flat, together with other 2 volunteers. Flat is equipped with the kitchen, bathroom, 2 bedrooms and balcony. Two volunteers will be in big shared bedroom and one volunteer will be in solo bedroom. Sunce already has signed agreement with the flat owner and Sunce is fully covering all expenses.
The flat is close to the city centre and Association's office - a 20-minute walk.
Participants will receive 196,50 EUR per month to buy and prepare own food or to eat in a local restaurant plus 183,50 EUR monthly pocket money (380 EUR all together).
