Resumo: (Cosmonaut Centre and the high rope place)
The Centre has been an integral part of the educational and cultural landscape since it was founded on 14 August 1964. It bears the name of the first German space traveller and honorary citizen.

Following the principle of children for children, the centre is dedicated to extracurricular youth education in the fields of cosmonautics/astronautics, astronomy and meteorology. This special approach combined with the unusual subject matter gives the Cosmonaut Centre its unique regional and supra-regional status.

Visitors young and old are expertly looked after in the Centre by the regular crew, the Stammis - girls and boys aged between 9 and 18. As members of the regular staff working group, they share the fascination of space travel, can lead simulated space flights and space tests in the spaceship cabin or test the physical fitness of flight enthusiasts in the astrotrainer.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas:  Supporting regular activities, as well as all around SPACE and SPORT projects and activities
 Assisting external visitors groups during the activities and guiding through center
 Creative work in design of activities and PR materials
 Supporting outdoor activities and administrative tasks
 Common activities within ESC team organizing, supporting and promoting Erasmus+ projects and European Solidarity Corps

Condições:  Monthly pocket money and food allowance
 Free accommodation. You will share kitchen, bathroom and living room, but having own bedroom in a fully equipped apartment. In the neighborhood, there are the bus station, a cafeteria, several shopping centers, and leisure centers (gym, billiard room, and cinema.
 Free transport in Chemnitz by public local transport facilities
 Payed travel to come and return back home.
 Attending 2 seminars outhouse (full pension) in the frame of ESC program
