Resumo: The hosting organization is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organisation founded in 1991 to carry out and support international voluntary service and intercultural education. By organising international voluntary projects, educational programmes and campaigns we aim at:
1. assisting the development of a tolerant and open-minded society,
2. encouraging an active and responsible approach to the world around us both locally and globally.

Main activities include:
1. Sending Czech volunteers abroad to short term international voluntary projects (called workcamps) and mid- and long-term voluntary projects (about 500 per year);
2. Hosting volunteers of our partner organisations from abroad (about 340) and the Czech Republic at 30-35 short-term workcamps organised in the Czech Republic;
3. Sending Czech volunteers to short and long-term EVS/ESC projects abroad (about 15 people per year) and hosting 2 volunteers in our office within the Erasmus+ programme European Voluntary Service and European Solidarity Corps (ESC);
4. Preparing and running projects in the field of Global Education, Inclusion and Non-Formal education (e.g. GLEN, Football for Development, Global Volunteering Cycle, Agents of Change);
5. Promotion of volunteering and its contribution to the personal development of the volunteers (in schools, at conferences, in international networks, publishing materials);
6. Organizing and hosting seminars and trainings related to the theme of volunteering and Global Education (trainings for workcamp leaders, trainings for trainers, evaluation meetings for volunteers, seminars on Global Education issues, preparatory seminars for volunteers going to Global South);
7. Running up programme which is a space for volunteers to turn their ideas into practice and create their own projects.

In general, our projects are open to all people interested in participating, even though certain requirements might be given by a partner or donor of a specific programme or project. Most volunteers and participants in our projects are people between 18-26 years old but we are open to all age groups and backgrounds.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
This project is open to anyone with an interest in our activities and with a strong motivation in becoming an active member of our team. We welcome open-minded, flexible person with willingness to learn and invest energy. You should be able to work independently as well as in a team. Please note that a lot of work is of administrative character, not always in the field. They must be open to reading and writing long texts and creating studies. Previous experiences with organizing events and the NGO sector are valuable, but not required. The volunteer needs to have a good level of English.

Tarefas: As a volunteer, you will join the educational department of the organization and will mainly assist our project coordinators with working on delivering content of several educational activities and strategic projects. For example projects focused on ethical communication, activities with the community. Support will be mainly with collecting data, writing documents, commenting on existing methods. Throughout the year, the responsibilities will have a wide range and will also include tasks such as logistical support for the trainings, meetings and seminars; taking an active part in the activities on the spot; communication with participants; dealing with administration connected to the projects - such as adding data to encode activities and participants, support writing reports and monitoring the projects´ budgets; leading a workcamp

Condições: The volunteer will live in a walk-through room in a shared and fully equipped flat. The accommodation will be located within a reachable distance from the office (by public transport). The volunteer will get a monthly food allowance and receive a public transport card.
