Resumo: Our activities range from awareness campaigns on inclusion topics to workshops on different inclusion methods as well as self expression tools, main aim of the activities are to give voice for youth with different backgrounds and their ideas. Our long term volunteer would be integrated noOR's everyday work which will give her/him the chance to develop her/himself in workshop planning, implementing staged; project management; volunteers' management; new technology use in NGO work; working with different target groups. we acknowledge that all these concepts are pretty general, but when supported by volunteers personal learning plan, then the outcome can be very concrete and useful for volunteers future work.
Perfil: Volunteers are expected to be open minded and interested to work with concrete target group of the activities, main criteria is the motivation for doing EVS in general and additionally motivation to do follow the project they are applying for. At least basic English is needed for working in the project in order to communicate with the leaders and youngsters and to manage in everyday environment. Applications which follow the points listed in the answer to their e-mails, will be successfully taken into consideration.
Tarefas: Office: office for the volunteer will be mainly preparations for the workshops and updating/running our web spaces. Volunteer will update our internet page and social media, will promote our activities through other international networks who work in the same field. We have foreseen these activities to take approximately 20% of the vole service activities. In project management volunteers tasks remain recording the event, updating our public spaces and organising the work of local volunteers who have volunteered to help her on the tasks. Workshops: big part of noOR volunteer's time will be assisting noOR's staff on running awareness projects with noOR's partner organisations. Volunteers role in these workshops will be: assisting in implementing activities, recording and publishing. It will make around 30% of volunteers entire service. Own Initiative: from the beginning (starting from the second month) noOR staff will encourage the volunteer to come up with her/his own local action. According to the background of the volunteer and skills she/he already has the activities could range from a small movie festival, online magazine to different charity events. Local action will depend on volunteers own interest. noOR do expects that the local initiative would would have a visibility aspect meaning that it would reach to wider public audience. Volunteer will be supported by noOR staff and local volunteers, she will always work with a group of people. We see the own initiative to take approximately 50% of volunteers service, including the preparation and evaluation phase.
