Resumo: YMCA Siderno has been involved for over seventy-five years in the training and support of young people, always promoting physical, moral and spiritual growth.
Currently made up of over 500 members, it is a key point in the community. It was founded by a group of volunteers, in 1948 and it soon became a meeting point forhundreds of young people.
The YMCA has been one of the first to get the affiliation to the Italian Basketball Federation.

As part of our ongoing mission to celebrate cultural diversity and multiculturalism, raise awareness on environmental issues, and fight all forms of exclusion and discrimination.
Can we change? 5.0 aims to broaden the horizons of young people on being European.
Through this project, we support and engage local youth, providing opportunities to actively participate
in meaningful activities. Together, we create lasting change, build connections and promote solidarity— working toward a more inclusive, sustainable future for all.

Environmental Work
Our organization runs a variety of programs and activities that engage the community to work together to promote
environmental awareness and sustainable practices.

Breaking Barriers
The volunteer can play a key
role in breaking barriers by contributing through open discussions and community work, supporting our efforts to foster understanding and unity.

Experience the vibrant culture, flavors, and traditions of Siderno firsthand! Eat like a local, dance like a local and... bring some sweets over for the Sunday Family lunches.

Mini basketball
Our organization has been involved in the practice of sport for over 70 years.
Sport is not just playing for us, it is a tool to teach education and values to our young people.

Horário: The day will start with breakfast provided at the YMCA, followed by 3 hours of activities and provided lunch.
In the afternoon after a siesta the activites will run until 7pm. The dinners will be in the apartments, the perfect time to bond with your housemates. Volunteers will have 1 free day per week

Condições: Accomodation
Shared apartment equipped with all the necessary utilities and comforts in the city centre, with a max of 2 people per room. The volunteers are responsible for keeping the apartment and the rooms clean. Internet will be provided both in the apartment and in the office.

Payments
96€ pocket money;
6€ per every day where food is not provided pocket money.
Travel reimbursement based on kms.
