Resumo: The project aims to address challenges within Palermo's social context and develop EU awareness to stimulate positive change. The project wil involve young people in a concrete community action in Palermo (Sicily). Volunteers wil be involved in the design and implementation of interventions aimed at individuals at risk of marginalization, as well as the promotion of opportunities for training and non-formal education. Volunteers wil get in touch with organizations in the area that deal with social cohesion through non-formal education, ecological awareness, active commitment to reduce the rates of marginality.
Our volunteering program is full of experiences, learning and sharing with local and international people!

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: - Collaboration with local associations in their daily activities to increase levels of social cohesion and reduce marginality;
- Supporting the social associations of the territory by proposing their own ideas and initiatives on the theme of social marginality developing new ideas for activities and workshops for local youth, as wel as sharing their country, language, traditions;
- Promotion of projects aimed at reception and social inclusion

Horário: Volunteers wil work approximately 6 hours per day, 5 days a week.
