Resumo: (volunteering team project)
The organization was established in 2003 with the aim of promoting intercultural learning and values such as solidarity and active citizenship. Since its birth the association had youth as its main target group, focusing on local and international volunteering and mobility as an opportunity for growth and non-formal learning.The organization carries on different cultural activities and since June 2019 manage of the Community library in the city.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
We are looking for motivated participants, possibly (but not necessarily) passionate about board games, ready to perform manual tasks and overcome new challenges. It is possible to join also if you already did a long-term ESC project.

Tarefas: This is a volunteering team project aimed at building community games to enrich the Agorateca community library, located in the suburbs. The Agorateca is a space managed by the the association and was built to create a cultural stronghold and a space for community life in the outskirts of the city. The project will consist of manual work to build wooden games, conceived and designed by the participants themselves. The games will finally be presented to the local community at a closing event of the project, just before the Christmas holidays.

Condições: The group of volunteers will be hosted in the city, where the host association is based, in double or triplet rooms, inside a flat that they will share with the other volunteers.
The volunteers will be responsible manage the house following the rules.
Volunteers will move by walking from the apartment to the activity space.
Each volunteer will be entitled to pocket money following ESC rules and they will have to provide their own meals.
