Resumo: We are an intermediary organization between volunteers and organizations that need volunteer support.

MISSION
We promote the idea of volunteering, implement projects to activate local communities and aim at changing the perception of volunteering - from the notion of social assistance activities to an informed citizen attitude. We work with volunteers of all ages, different capacities and with various professional or social statuses. Since 2018 we work with approx. 100 international volunteers from 19 countries.

Creativity and independence at work
Previous experience in the volunteering field is an asset
Fluent and communicative English

Strong motivation to work in schools with children

LEARN
how volunteering fosters active citizenship how it relates to European Union Values

HELP
Organizing the Volunteering Week

TEACH
Kids in schools about volunteering, EU values, and Sustainable Development

WEEK ONE
During the first week, the volunteers will work together to come up with idead for workshops and activities for the following weeks.
Participants will be encouraged to tap into their imaginative side and formulate own ideas, which then discussed with the group in order make them become reality.

WEEK TWO
During the second week, the volunteers will act out and participate in the activities and workshops organized in weekone, with many events happening all over the city related to volunteering.
Events will include: activities on public trasnports to sensibilize on the themes of volunteering, workshops aound the city center on ESC, the volunteers parade, and many more.

WEEK THREE
During the final week, the volunteers will put into practice the workshops organized in week one for the pupils of the schools around the city. These workshops will focus on the idea of Sustainable Development, with the goal of teaching the young generations to respect the environment and foster equality in society.

Volunteers will also take partn in a special workshop that is aimed at teaching a better understading about how EU values come into practice in volunteering, how youth volunteering can serve as a gateway for active citizenship.
