Resumo: The hosting organization is a social cooperative established in 1997. The organization aims to facilitate the promotion of the rights, ease and social well-being of all people, respecting personal resources and characteristics, with particular attention to those experiencing conditions of marginality, deprivation and hardship. The organization is formed by agroup of educator members, operators and volunteers.

Age: 18-30
- Motivation to spend 10 months in a foreign country working with disadvantaged target groups.
- We'll prefer volunteers with high motivation to discover the social work run by the hosting organizations, with the mind open to take care about
- the tasks the social work implies (spend time with beneficiaries, do practical activities with them, etc.) and with the will to adapt to the new environment.
- Previous experience (also of volunteering) in the social topics addressed by the project is welcome.
- Basics of Italian or at least of English are needed.
- driving license is required

Tarefas: - Supporting and cpleting the hosting organization activity:
+ help elaborating, planning and carrying out projects based on assisting people in their learning programs;
+ sensitize and promote topicsc oncerning human rights, social housing culture, environment and sustainable development – at every level, and even supporting the organization of local awareness raising events and initiatives, if required;
+ help the activities organizedby the cooperative;
+ support the management of no-working activities, i.e.the free-time with inindividual projects, etc.;
+ act as ferrymen between the adults and the youth worlds, as well as between the cooperative and the youth
+ stregth the links with the wider social environment

- Working sessions, especially addressed to disadvantaged people:
+ Supporing the organization and the development of sessions of work with the target group
+ supporting the operator in the coordinating the work-group
+ assigning tasks and monitoring the good development of work, with an educative approach

- Service the live-in:
In a partner organization offers places for girls at risk who have no support from their parents:
+ supporting the ducator in the everyday life of the community
+ accompanying the girls at school or extra school activities
+ creating laboratories for the girls

- activities linked to the so-called youth area and autonomy area:
+ participation to activities at school with young students how are exposed to drop out school
+ get involved in a project where the operatorthe women victims of trafficking

Condições: Volunteers will be hosted in independent apartments and well served by public transports. Shared bedroom taking care to separate males and females,
Volunteers will receive a monthly allowance of 150€ to be used for the personal shopping, in addition to the EU pocket money of 5€ per day.
Two ways international travel is covered by EU funds according to the distance band (180€ up to 499 km; 275€ from 500 to 1999 km).
Volunteers will receive a bike and bus tickets.
