Resumo: (Social activities for young people)
The organisation is a House for Young workers. Therefore is main goal is to provide accommodation to young people aged between 16 and 30 years old and facing difficulties to get an accommodation, and consequently, in a situation of social and professional inclusion. The organization manages several apartment blocks.
The organization does not provide only accommodation to young people. They also offers various supports for the inclusion of young people: trainings, educative workshops, support to access to social services and employment and mobility guidance.

The volunteer will be a member of the educative team of the House. The role of the volunteer will be providing a daily support and another type of listen to the youngsters living in the different houses. The goal is to provide a peer to peer support and raise the interest to foreign culture inside the Houses.
The volunteer will take part in the leisure and educative time as well as different workshops. The workshops can be really diverse following the center of interests of the volunteer or the current projects of the organisation. The core idea is to facilitate the relation with the youngsters and initiate projects with them in order to enable their active citizenhip and empower them.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
You are outgoing and dynamic ?
You have good communication skills and you are able to take initiatives ?
Then you can be the ideal volunteer !
The main criterion is to be interested in working with youngsters facing difficult social situations and showing empathy.
You should be interested in leading activities with youngsters (sport, environment awareness, culture).
Having basic French language knowledge is necessary.

Tarefas: The works to help young people with housing. The volunteer will help the educational team. It is expected that he/she can take part and initiate activities from his/her interests and country of origin in order to raise European awareness among the youngsters in the Home.
The volunteer will take part in the leisure times in the evenings and in workshops (cooking workshops, bike reparation, waste sort workshop, sports...). He can also propose activities following his skills and the interests of the young people living in the organization.

Condições: The volunteer will live in his own flat with a kitchen and bathroom. The flat belongs to the organisation but the volunteer will work with young people living in other flats.
The volunteer will receive money for food, transport and pocket money. The transport from home country to France is also reimbursed by the program.
