Resumo: The association is dedicated to promoting and developing activities for young people. Its main mission is to encourage the active participation of youth in the community by offering a variety of programs and events that range from cultural and sports activities to educational and social projects.
The association strives to create an inclusive and collaborative environment where young people can acquire new skills, make friends, and contribute positively to society. Additionally, Athe organization has extensive experience in Erasmus+ projects and promoting volunteerism.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Participants are young people seeking new opportunities in their lives. Volunteers may be unemployed or facing educational, economic, social, or physical challenges, or they may have low language skills. We hope that volunteers are interested in organizing events for local communities.
No previous experience is necessary; just an interest in trying it out and learning more! However, we are also seeking individuals with specific interests to create a team with great synergy.

Some specific profiles of the team
+ Ability to perform manual tasks (working with wood, painting, arts and crafts, etc.).
+ Artistic interests such as drawing, ceramics, or music. Skills in audiovisual creation, including social media posts, video production, podcast management, etc.
+ People who are able to cooperate with others.
+ People interested in education.
+ People interested in sharing and promoting their own culture with others.
+ People with an interest in rural development.
+ People with the initiative to create their own projects and activities.

Tarefas: The work tasks will vary, including supporting small projects in which we are involved in the town, assisting with our Erasmus projects, participating in the initiatives, and creating your own small personal projects related to our rural youth.

Some examples of specific activities:
1) When helping us to coordinate projects:
+ Assisting in the creation of project calls.
+ Leading workshops on topics of your interest.
+ Supporting communication and dissemination activities.
+ Participating in logistical activities.
+ And if you feel brave enough, even writing your own projects!

We expect to have between 2 to 3 activities per year (youth exchanges and training courses).

2) Supporting small projects in which we are involved
+ To help in dinamization of the cultural space and museum.
+ Attending the local school at least one day each week.
+ Doing activities with the children at the local public school.
+ Energizing various spaces at the school, such as an art exhibition and a coworking center.
+ Supporting our cooperation with the local projects.

3) Participating in the different events and activities promoted by the city council
+ To support the famous El Día de la Pasa.
+ To be part of the new and growing Día de las Ánimas.
+ To learn about and participate in the grape harvest in the different public spaces of the village.
+ To participate in the Cultural Week.
+ To assist with the various touristic events promoted by the municipality.
+ Romería.
+ Semana Santa and Fiestas.

4) Create your own small projects/initiatives, as can be:
+ Informal and non-formal language workshops.
+ Non-formal cultural engagement workshops, presenting your culture to the community.
+ Personal projects related to youth.
+ Film forums.
+ Solidarity actions in collaboration with local youth (such as information campaigns, waste collection, etc.).
+ Promotion and facilitation of intergenerational activities.

Horário: Working Hours:
The volunteer will work 5 days a week, approximately 30-35 hours. Working hours may be in the mornings on some days and in the evenings on others. Additionally, there will be language immersion and mentoring sessions in the evenings.

Working Days:
The working days will mainly be from Wednesday to Sunday, with Monday and Tuesday designated as rest days.

Condições: Food Allowance: Volunteers will receive 200 € per month to self- manage their own food. The flats will have cooking facilities available.

Pocket Money: Volunteers will receive 6 € per day (180 € per month) for personal expenses.

Travel Budget: Approximately 360 € will be allocated per volunteer, to be discussed individually.

Health Insurance: Included for the duration of the volunteering period.

Trips and Leisure Activities: Some trips and leisure activities will be organized.

Vacation: Volunteers will have 2 vacation days per month.
