Resumo: Private School offers an alternative education for 6-14 y.o. children, based on principles of progressive education, Montessori and nonviolent communication.
We support and guide children on their way to becoming responsible confident and open-minded persons. 60 children attend our school. The school integrates volunteers closely into the daily work and community.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
We look for a person, who is responsible and motivated to help students, as well as assisting teachers. Ideal candidates should be open-minded, active, and initiative-taking, capable of interacting with children of different ages and social backgrounds. An interest in alternative pedagogy and specific skills in arts, music, handicrafts, or sports are also desirable.

Tarefas: Two volunteers support teachers in classrooms. Daily work in school has project groups, which work independently but are guided by teachers. We look for a volunteer who are interested in pedagogy, love working with children, are able to assist teachers during lessons and in after school activities.

Condições: Two volunteers will stay in a fully furnished apartment and have his/her own room with shared kitchen and bathroom. We will provide a ticket to use the public transport in the region. Volunteers will get monthly allowance for food (10€/day). Pocket money for Austria is 7 € / day.
