Resumo: (education)
The leader organization is a contributory organisation of the town providing non-formal education primarily for children and youth aged 0 - 18, adults as well as for other organizations and schools of our region. Our most important target group are children from primary schools. The leisure time centre is located in the centre of town in northeastern part of the Czech republic, right on the boarder with Poland.

The town has 20 000 inhabitants and offers a wide range of possible activities - discovering nature, cultural sights and also a good cuisine. The organization offers non-formal education in almost 150 clubs as regular activities of the organization (e.g. street dance, arts and crafts, pottery, musical clubs, sport clubs, climbing, mother care centre, outdoor activities, foreign languages, animal care...) usually from 1 P.M. till 7 P.M. Management of these clubs is organized in several departments: dancing department, sport department, international department, art department called Ateliér, social sciences department, mother care centre and after school club.

Perfil: We expect that you are an open-minded, responsible and flexible person who is interested in pedagogy and enjoys working with children. The age of the candidate must be between 18 and 30 years old.

We want to be sure that you understand the term VOLUNTEERING and that you don´t take the project
as a thing that only you should benefit from.

You don´t have to have any special qualifications to apply for this project. We will teach you everything.
It will be helpful if you speak at least a little bit of English so the communication can be easier.

Tarefas: The volunteering opportunity consists of assisting to pedagogues in non-formal educational activites in our leisure time center or local schools. You will work in an international team of volunteers from the whole Europe. There are several opportunities that you can choose from volunteering in the leisure time center volunteering in local schools, volunteering in Montessori school, volunteering in Montessori-style kindergarten.
The main target group you will work with will be children aged 3 to 13, but you can also partly help with activities for adults. During the summer you will help with the summer camps that we organize for children from 3 to 13 years old. The experience you will get is really wide, intensive and lifechanging.

Condições: The tickets you will buy for the journey for the project and back home will be reimbursed. You don´t
have to pay for accommodation, it is fully funded from the project. Moreover, you will recieve mohtly pocket money to buy your own food and personal things.

You will live in a shared appartment with your own room. The appartment is fully equipped.

You will not have to travel daily to the organization, you will live in the same town close to the organization´s seat.

The orgnaization is located in a small town - however it has many shops, sport facilities, a cinema, cafés, restaurants and bars.
