Through partner projects, development and education, we strive for a high quality artistic experience for everyone, regardless of age, cultural or social background. We create accessible environments around music and sound, for enthusiasts and professionals alike, from the very young to the very old, where they can (re)discover their own musicality and listen with new ears.

● You have organisational skills, work efficiently and are result-driven
● You have technical insight and some knowledge of technical material (audio/video)
● You have a positive mentality and a good sense for humor
● You are a team player but can also take independent initiative where necessary
● You are stress resistant and able to deal with unexpected situations
● You are proactive and look for solutions when something is going wrong or needs extra attention
● You are social and empathetic.
● You are prepared to work flexibly and to do occasional evening and weekend work.
● You have a driving license (type B)
● You are fluent in the English language, both written and spoken

Tarefas: In cooperation with AFS Low Lands vzw as the coordinating organisation, Musica offers the following volunteering opportunity:

Your tasks as a volunteer depend very much on your background. In general you can expect to help with the many tasks in the daily operation of the organization. It’s a diverse package with an emphasis on production in a broad sense. You will join a professional team, from beginning of September 2024 until 7 April 2025, that will guide you in the following tasks:

● supporting the production team in various projects (image and sound recordings, technical support, assembly and disassembly of decors, transport, administrative matters, material management, actively helping out at events, helping out in the workshop with the development of installations or sets)

● support in the maintenance of the sound art installations in ‘Het Klankenbos’, with the guidance of a colleague

● support in the practical preparation of our educational projects on our site and on location (preparation of material, construction and dismantling, etc.)
