The hosting organization is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization inscribed in the Spanish National Associations Register since 1998.
The main activity of De Amicitia is to organize local and international volunteering activities, specially workcamps. With its formal headquarters in the northern mountain range of the Madrid region, De Amicitia has moved its activities in that area but also in other areas of Spain far from the big cities where it has been able to carry out its own rural development actions in collaboration with the associative social fabric and the support of the local administration. Administrative delegations have been created in recent years in Asturias, Andalusia, the Canary Islands, Navarra, and the Valencian Community, registered in accordance with the legislation in the National Registry of Associations that serve as a local reference and where we work with young people from those areas developing local projects of international and especially European mobility.
We also have been very active in the organization of Youth Exchanges and seminars on the frame of EU Programs, sending and receiving ESC volunteers (previously EVS) for many years.
The organization has also a legal department working on legal environmental advising and arbitration of NGOs. Mixing both types of activities allows us to provide social and educational benefits as well as publicize the legal work we do in courts and other settings.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
We are looking for young people who have good skills as musician, painter and designer.
Candidates can send us photographs or a video where we can evaluate their skills as musicians

Tarefas: We are looking for musicians and mural artists to join a very special art and social project. The volunteers will create a Swing Music Band that will offer concerts to the elderly and vulnerable people in residential houses and hospitals. Due to Covid 19 loneliness has generated a significant increase in senile dementia, reduced mobility, depression and dependency among vulnerable populations.
Therefore we want to create brither and colourful space to become open spaces but above all these concerts and art will not only become additional entertainment but above all an opportunity for social relations and the dissemination of healthy practices and healthy living. The activities may also include a final Concert with a Local Band or a Lindy Hopper Club.

Condições: The project will be develope in Denia and other towns nearby but volunteers will stay in a house. First days will be used to prepare sketches, practise and create a repertory, and therefore the group will stay mainly at this house to be able to create.
During the following days, they will be travelling to the activity place and other locations for the concerts, if the work is finished they will help painting our house or other walls.
Food expenses are covered by the organization. The volunteers are meant to cook their meals.
