Resumo: The coordinating organization is a popular education federation: it is therefore intended to enable everyone, from cultural openness from artistic practices, debates, meetings, to better understand the surrounding world to better act.
The Popular Education Project, the essence of the coordinating organization is primarily a project of citizenship education. Thus, by allowing young people to be come aware of how they live, by comparing the difference to others, they can work better together. It aims to equip eachp eople (professionals, volunteers, partners) in th House of Youth and Culture,todevelop commitments and taking initiatives.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The volunteer will be hosted by the City Hall and will be working with people with disabilities, family caregivers and the elderly people under the mentorship of the Disability and Health Prevention Coordinator. As part of the development of its inclusive policy, the volunteer’s missions will be:
● Information and participation: Reaching out to target audiences to give them information and support, and facilitate their participation in city projects.
● Social cohesion: Organising friendly, inclusive events facilitating meetups. Smoothen the participation of people with disabilities, their care-givers and senior citizens in these events.
● Raising awareness: organising workshops to raise awareness of disabilities (role-playing, communication, etc.). Personal initiatives and projects will be strongly welcomed and supported.
