Resumo: Jenbach is situated in the lower Inn Valley in Tyrol, about 30 kilometres east of the province capital Innsbruck. It is 570 m above sea level and has about 7,000 inhabitants. Owing to its central location there are many monuments, attractions of the region and leisure facilities easily accessible by train or bus. Jenbach has a lot of supermarktes, there is main train station and well-working bus network for the whole area. Some small shops, bars, restaurants and cafes in Jenbach invite you to stroll and linger. Interested volunteers have the opportunity to participate in various cultural and sports clubs or visit concerts organised by local artists. There is a local museum with various topics such as nature, sport, railroad and history of the site. One of Jenbach's notable highlights is the very popular narrow gauge trains. One of them leads you up to the scenic Achensee region, and another one takes you to Mayrhofen at the end of the beautiful Ziller Valley. There are some very attractive skiing and skating facilities within easy reach. The Karwendel and Rofan mountain ranges invite you explore the magnificent scenery of our
country. In summertime you can explore the region with your mountain bike or go hiking. There are some beautiful lakes nearby

Working with young people means to be flexible and to accept working hours in the evening and on some Saturdays. Youth
workers rarely need to work in the morning hours and never on Sundays. Occasionally the volunteer's work might exceed the
working-hours-limit (30-35h). In such cases, of course, this will be compensated by additional free time in the following week.
Outside our official opening hours we plan and organize our projects and activities and do some shopping. However, it is our aim not to ask our volunteer to do any extra hours.
