Resumo: The organization stands for a barrier-free communication. We promote the use of Sign Languages and the development of social networks within and outside the Deaf community. Our philosophy is based on a respectful and creative approach to differences and diversity. We support Deaf and hearing-impaired people in exercising their rights and carry out educational and awareness-raising work.
For us, the joint early childhood education and upbringing of Deaf, hearing-impaired and hearing children with Sign Language is an important basis for equal opportunities and openness in society.

Commitment to the organisation, participation and implementation of celebrations and festivities
Tarefas: The volunteers support the residents and staff in the shared flat in their daily tasks. The volunteers make a solidarity-based contribution to everyday life in the shared flat and, through their daily work, get to know the conceptual ideas and practical implementation of the organisation, learn teamwork and expand their social and civic skills in an inclusive working environment. After an initial familiarisation phase, volunteers can contribute their own ideas and hobbies, supplement their daily work with smaller projects and thus respond individually to their own needs and those of the residents.
Supporting and educational tasks in day-to-day care with and for the residents:
Being an additional point of contact
Support with activities outside the residential community
Support with leisure activities, e.g. going for walks, handicrafts, baking cakes, shopping.
Assistance with preparing meals together (e.g. setting the table, preparing salads, etc.)
Weekly accompaniment for walks, coffee/cake and shopping (with prior familiarisation)
Weekly accompaniment to the flat-sharing programme: swimming, drumming (with prior training)
Accompaniment for minor visits to the doctor after prior familiarisation
Space for own educational projects
Administrative tasks: Participation in team meetings (service meetings, supervision, WG meetings, team days, specialist group meetings)
