Resumo: The private school offers an alternative education for 6-14 y.o. children, based on principles of progressive education, Montessori and nonviolent communication. We support and guide children on their way to becoming responsible confident and open-minded persons. 60 children attend our school. The school integrates volunteers closely into the daily work and community.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
We look for a person, who is responsible and motivated to help students, as well as assisting teachers. Ideal candidates should be open-minded, active, and initiative-taking, capable of interacting with children of different ages and social backgrounds. An interest in alternative pedagogy and specific skills in arts, music, handicrafts, or sports are also desirable.

Tarefas: The volunteers support teachers in classrooms. Daily work in school has project groups, which work independently but are guided by teachers. We look forvol unteer who are interested in pedagogy, love working with children, are able to assist teachers during lessons and in after school activities.

Condições: Volunteers will stay in an apartment and have his/her own room. We will provide a ticket to use the public transport in the region. Volunteers will get monthly allowance for food. Pocket money for Austria is 7 € / day.
