Resumo: The organization is in the field of youth projects, non-formal education of children and youths, cooperation with youth clubs, NGO, schools, Romany community center and other projects. The association has 5 units: art and crafts, dance, outdoor activities, socio scientific, and a mother care centre.

Perfil: We are currently looking for 1 volunteer from the European Union for art crafts and dance.

We expect a comparably independent, creative and adaptable young person, able to work in a team.

We need volunteer with good relationship with children and young people.

Working with children necessitates volunteer's ability to communicate patiently, his/her positive attitude to children, and his/her social abilities such as open-mindedness, empathy, tolerance and cooperation. We invite positive relationship to animals.

Tarefas: • Work with children (6-14) and youth groups in art and graphic classes, decorating, creating posters, ceramics under the leadership of an art education and design specialist.
• Work on spontaneous, occasional events and summer camps.
• The volunteer shall work in the youth club. The youth club is a space for spontaneous activity of youths. The club also acts as an information centre for youths.
• The volunteer will also have space to create a project on his/her own, bringing new ideas.
• Work with children (6-14) and youth groups in dance and music classes under the leadership of a specialist.

Condições: The accommodation :The volunteers will share the flat close to the centre of the town. Everyone will have his/her own room. The flat will be fully furnished, with bathroom, equipped kitchen (fridge, kitchen-stove).
The volunteers have to manage their flat themselves. They are responsible for keeping order in their own room and shared space.

Meals :The volunteer will get the money for food; he/she usually prepares breakfast and supper at home and takes lunch (the main meal of the day) in a local restaurant together with other Decko employees.or in the school cantine

Pocket money: The volunteer will get his/her pocket money in cash at the beginning of each month.

Local transport: The volunteer will get money for ticket to reach the place off on-arrival training and mid-term meetings for volunteers. The volunteer doesn´t need money for transport to work. Déèko will pay the money in the case of business trip.

Support:After arrival of volunteer the director and coordinator will introduce him/her the organization and staff. They will be in direct contact with volunteer especially during the first weeks and also mainly participate in volunteer´s integration in the organization. They will help in all matters like stay of permit, sanitary assistance and of course solve potential misunderstanding. During regular meetings all together will plan volunteers activities.
In the case of health problems organization ensure medical care, a psychologist or a near hospital

On arrival: The volunteer will recognise basic information about rules of safety work with children and youth, rules in organization and first aid. He/she will participate in on arrival training

The mentor: Person speaking English - will be disposal during the whole stay of the volunteer. He is the person making easier communication between volunteer and employees of Decko and taking care of the good integration into the community life. He will be the first person helping volunteer to observe the daily life of the organization and life in the town. He will help volunteer to be gradually involved in the activities. The mentor, the volunteer, the director and the coordinator will have regularly meetings to evaluate the process, to speak about volunteer´s ideas or projects, plan new activities and solve potential problems.

During the whole stay:
Regularly lessons of Czech language with experienced teacher
Regularly meetings with other volunteers (get know Czech way of living, visiting new places, working together)
Visit the hosting place
Mid-term training organized by Czech NA

Volunteer activity is no job position: The volunteers will help with activities run by Decko staff or by external instructors. However, they will take over no responsibility. The presence of a volunteer will give the activities a European dimension and enhance the clients' interest in European culture and in other young people's lifestyle.

Risk prevention, protection and safety:

Before the arrival:
- we observe volunteer´s needs, health limitation, etc.

On the arrival:
- we will help and lead volunteer to learn about the local way of living, meet other people, know culture etc., we will help him/her with accommodation

During the stay:
- We will explain the security rules for working with children and youth as well as internal rules of working in our organization
- We will respect personality of volunteer and deal with each individually
- We will organize regularly meeting with mentor
- We will stay in touch with coordinating organization Déèko Náchod, consult the project and solve possible problems
- In the case of health problems we ensure a medical care in the health centre or in the local hospital
- There will have regular evaluation

Formação: Our organization want to create a place for inter-cultural meeting, learning and personal development of young people of different nations. We wish to offer possibilities to build new partnerships with a positive influence on the local community. We want to help volunteer's to realize new ideas and to wide their experience.

We want to help them to be independent and responsible. Volunteers will be supported and skilled by leaders with pedagogical education. Both of them will participate on work in Youth club(spontaneous activities, intercultural programmes, communication...) and help teachers in different children group of hobbies according to their interest (art, dancing, nature..). They will work on documentation of all activities, make photographs a prepare exhibitions, also fill in informations in the database. Volunteers will be skilled in work with children and youth (age 5-18). One volunteer with good relationship to animals will take care about animals - pets, help with environmental programmes for skools and prepare outdoor activities for children. Regularly both volunteers will have meeting and program with EVS coordinator and volunteers from our coordinating organisation Decko Nachod. We are planning cooperation in projects with volunteers in various themes.
