Resumo: The coordinating organization is a youth information centre offering up-to-date information about matters concerning young people. Information is provided on education and training, employment, travel, active citizenship, leisure time activities, legal questions, health, politics, etc. The main target group are young people between 13 and 30 years old. The centre also coordinates the regional activities of the programmes Erasmus+: Youth in Action and European Solidarity Corps (coordinating volunteering hosting projects, volunteering sending and hosting organisation, informing youth organisations on European funding opportunities).
In close cooperation with the local youth organisations as well as the youth departments of the local communities and the regional government, our organisation also works as an initiator, coordinator and supporting agency for regional and international projects (regional Youth Card, international projects, youth participation etc.).

Perfil: Age: 18-30
Our volunteers should like to work with young people and should be interested in different youth cultures, music, sports, night life and youth centre work. They should be interested in caring for young people and be prepared to take the initiative to get in contact with them. They should be flexible and be willing to take part in different kinds of projects. Since our opening hours are mainly in the afternoons, evenings and on weekends they should be prepared to work late hours and work on weekends as well. The volunteer will have two consecutive days off during the week.

Tarefas: The hosting organization association organizes and operates demand-oriented youth work in the entire social landscape of Bregenz. The offers are aimed at all young people between the ages of eleven and 25. Our work functions as a mouthpiece for the needs of young people and a place of socialization for young people. That is why we create social and cultural spaces in which young people can develop their identity, personality and relationships. Volunteers have the opportunity to participate in our various youth services, different projects that are developed and carried out in a participatory manner with the youngsters; topics are for example: democracy, anti-racism, gender sensitive youth work, health and wellbeing, food + cooking, urban gardening, street work, sports, art projects, outdoor activities, and lots more.

Condições: As a volunteer, you will live in a student housing where also other residents with different backgrounds live. You will have a room with bathroom on your own and share a kitchen with the other residents. You will receive your food- and pocket money always in the beginning of the month. The infrastructure with trains and buses is easy, quick and frequent. Also you will have a bicycle at your disposal and you will receive a ticket for free use of any public transport in the whole region of Vorarlberg during the complete project time.
